Riccardo Pavesi is a regenerative agriculture specialist working at the intersection of ecology, rural communities, and global frameworks. With a background in agri-environmental science and seven years of hands-on experience across Europe and Africa, he is dedicated to advancing a just agroecological transition – where farmers and communities are recognized as land stewards and valued for their contributions toward ecosystem restoration.
His perspective is shaped by a dual commitment: pairing technical approaches – ranging from Nature Based solutions like syntropic agroforestry and digital techs like GIS, MRV tools – with a deep dedication to cultural diversity, inclusion, and participatory governance. This combination has enabled him to support economic resilience pathways for hundreds of farmers, women, and youth, while facilitating collaborative processes among several stakeholders: local communities, NGOs, academics, brands, and international organizations.
Driven by the belief that regeneration is as much a cultural project as an ecological one, he focuses on building bridges. His mission is to help shape a future where biodiversity, social justice, and resilient food systems can grow together.
